Winters' investigates the oligarchies of the Founding Families disturbing old friends and new lovers.
Physically a genetically-enhanced, over-sexed, hunky male clone in his twenties, Danny Winters has to cope with harder things than murder. He began life as the daughter of the first Founding Family and his return as elder son creates social chaos. Additionally, he must cope with the resentful colleagues in the investigative unit. Complicating his search are the memories of the torture and death of his first body at the hands of The Amateur years before.
Winters' discovery of the villain behind the murderous return of The Amateur and his impending fatherhood, nearly topples the wealth and knowledge of the Founding Families.

A friend said this sounded like a clone of the DaVinci Code.
Never read the DaVinci Code (I know, I know). But I like this. I think it could be a book. A strange book, but from what I hear about Dan Brown, it can't be any stranger than the DaVinci Code.

This actually sounds workable as a story, Dave, even if it is a little rough.
I hated Da Vinci Code and think this sounds much more interesting.

A number of years back, one week at work, a chemist left on Friday as a man and returned the next Monday as a woman. A year later the doctors did the sexual reassignment surgery.
That's why I thought of that particular plot line.
