OK. Is Sparky Jr picking this latest series out?

Did my comment go bye bye into the ether?

Rob, young men lust after the sweet, young things and older men lust after them even more. Tis a fact.

I compensate by indulging in a little beefcake.

Wow, JW! Thanks for sharing that one!

Sarah, you'll have to thank Wes for sharing that one.

I think a couple of them are kind of cute, actually. The one jumping rope reminds me of cowboy softball. Good times.

My word, Julie, you sure know how to pick them!

Robin S. said...

Wes sent that to you, Jules?

Hmmmm. Maybe he's aiming to come by and visit when he's on his cattle ride.

Julie Weathers said...

Yes, Wes sent it to me with the heading "Why Women Stay Single."

I laughed.

Wes said...

I feel like a traitor to my gender.

Wes, think of it as reminding us how wonderful the not so klutzes are. My middle son always thought pointing out that so-and-so could be my child would somehow lesson his latest affront to sensibility.

Oh maybe it's like the gal who only hangs around with ugly friends to make herself look better.

Robin S. said...

Or, maybe Wes really is a traitor to his gender?

I mean, there's always that option.

Hmm, perhaps. Rebels are so terribly attractive...

Wes said...

Julie and Robin,
I will always put ladies ahead of loyalty to my gender.

"Julie and Robin,

Spoken like a true gallant. You don't happen to be from the south, do you?

Yes, I am southerner by nature, if not by place of birth. My father and grandparents were from KY, and my relatives live in KY, TN, and SC. I just returned from a family reunion in SC. My family farm was in Ohio on the Ohio river, so we might as well have lived in KY. My grandmother was the first woman to graduate from Kentucky Wesleyan. My dad, who read Latin and Greek, was a Kentucky Colonel. I haven't found too many farmers who read the classics in their original languages.

I'm a Kentucky Colonel as well. It's a buy your way in thing. The guy I was taking advantyage of at the time, back in the day, bought it for me with a few favors.

And here's the thing. Ohio ain't Kentucky, Bucky.
