Why you don't get published.
I misread the prompt and thought it said "Evil Editor finds his package on the porch" and then I couldn't get the gorey image out of mind!! Enjoyed the labors of those who were able to participate this week.Meri
I had a good time writing this, and reading yours, EE and Whirl. It's fun to see the different takes. We're gonna be in Georgia 3 or 4 days this coming week, and my husband swears he wants us to go internet free at this golf place we're going to (I think it's near Greensboro, something about a plantation in the name, I wasn't really paying attention...I just heard spa and said yes) but if I see that boy on his Blackberry, all internet-free bets are off. I love writing these things. I miss writing about Brother Tony from last year - maybe I'll figure out how to work him in again soon. Nothing like a little self-flagellation to make ya feel all Christmasy, huh?
These were all good and fun to read. I wish now I had followed through on the couple of weak ideas I had and submitted something.Still, perhaps I can aspire to be next year's Whirlochre...
Aww, ril, I didn't mean it like that! I've missed ya, truly!Meri
Sorry I missed this one, hopefully in the new year I can get organised and do more of these! I enjoyed reading the results, though.
