No weekend posts? Did the rapture getcha?
Actually, once we hit the five year milestone, 5+ years of posting every day, approximately 1850 consecutive days, I decided I deserved weekends off. For years we did writing exercises on Sundays, but eventually we were getting only two or three submissions. Saturday films take a lot of time to make and I've run out of material. (I will be making two more films, to reach a nice round total of 150. One of them will feature product placement of someone's book (that someone being whoever coughs up the most money in this auction).
If queries and openings were pouring in, it might be a different story, but we currently have 2 queries and zero openings. Which will get us through Tuesday.
Here's an idea. On weekends and days when there's nothing to post, I can do "Evil Editor Classics." Reprints of the best Face-Lifts, films, New Beginnings and cartoons from the early days of the blog, back when it was funny. Nostalgic for those who've been along for the whole ride, and good as new for those who just got here.

sounds OK to me
Sounds like a good idea.
By the way, I have been reading since near the beginning and greatly appreciate all the entertainment. I am not actually a writer myself so, alas, I don't have any queries or New Beginnings to contribute.
Are those weekends off tasty and do they involve a certain minion (or two or three)?
You deserve a lot more than weekends off! Classic posts sound great.
Should be amusing — though it highlights the minions' current surfeit of slack.
Evil Editor, I knew you couldn't have been taken by the Rapture (the clue is in your name).
I'm happy to read repeats; as you say, the ones I recognise will be nostalgic and the others will seem brand new!
What will you do about the comments? Some of those were very funny too.
Sounds good. Maybe even remaster those classics or do a Director's Cut?
We need ya, man!
Otherwise, it's back on the medication.
That sounds like a good idea. I know I've missed a lot of good posts because I read sporadically and even if I remember it, it's fun to read again.
I'm down with this idea. Considering my poor memory it'll all be new to me...
