Thankgiving Dinner Needn't be the Same Old Same Old

Make this year's Thanksgiving dinner special.

I posted this recipe a couple years ago, but no one reported back that they had tried it. It sounds like more work than just roasting a turkey, but when you see the results, I think you'll agree it's worth it.

If you prefer roast turkey for Turkey Day, I suggest using your leftover turkey for this recipe. Save the drippings in the roasting pan and boil the bones to get the last of the meat and the jelling to make the sauce as described and the chop up the leftover turkey and follow the rest of the directions. I think it will make a much appreciated variation on turkey salad sandwiches.

Happy Thanksgiving (whatever that is) to you and yours!

You can place the turkey between slices of stuffing and thus create turkey stuffing sandwiches.
